Review of Laura Geller Spackle Under Makeup Primer

(More customer reviews)I have tried a lot of makeup primers over the years and this product is equally good, if not better, than the other primers I have tried.I have very dry skin so often my foundation goes on unevenly and looks chalky in places if I apply it after lotion alone.This primer completely solved the problem.It allowed my foundation to glide on effortlessly and made my makeup look natural.

However, I will say that I don't think it worked dramatically better than other makeup primers I have found.In my experience they all work equally well so it's a matter of finding one that has a texture you like and combats for any additional issues you might have (i.e. choosing a green tinted primer if you find you're prone to skin redness).Texturally this product felt a bit like petroleum jelly to me (which took some getting used to), while Smashbox Photo Finish Color Correcting Foundation Primerfeels more like a matte gel and MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Microperfecting Primer feels more like a lotion or a foundation.UltimatelyI like the Make Up for Ever texture the best, but which feels best is largely personal.

Overall even though the texture isn't my favorite this is still a great product and works as expected.
