(More customer reviews)When I first started having breakouts around age 13, I used ProActiv. It was the new kid on the block in terms of acne solutions and it worked wonders. My acne went away and I was pimple free for years. However, at age 24, it came back with a vengeance. So I once more turned to my miracle cure, thinking that since ProActiv worked the 1st time, surely it would do the trick again. Boy, was I wrong! Not only did ProActiv NOT help this time around, it made my skin worse. Of course I was devastated, but since I knew no other course of action, I stuck with it hoping for a change. Soon I started seeing the commercials for the Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Control Kit. I, like most people, was skeptical that it would do any good but at that point, I had nothing to lose...except my acne. The Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Control Kit started working immediately. Within 2-3 days, my skin had completely cleared up. I was and still am, pleasantly surprised.

Now, we should all recognize that there is no such thing as a miracle cure. Even though I use the Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Control Kit religiously, I still get the occasional pimple or two. But I think we CAN all agree that's a vast improvement over having a face full of pimples on a regular basis. I posted this review not to bash ProActiv, because for some people it is the cure to their acne woes, but to endorse the Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Control Kit as an alternative to those who have NOT had luck with ProActiv and are looking for another option. Whichever you choose, be it ProActiv, Clean & Clear or some other product, I wish you all luck on your journey towards putting your "Best Face Forward". :)
