(More customer reviews)I never had much luck with the hydroxy acids that were too harsh for my skin (I'm 23), but this glycolic peel was amazing!There was a tingling sensation, but it didn't hurt, and 5 minutes later I rinsed it off and felt immediate results.Even my husband noticed that my skin texture felt softer.The next morning I woke up, and my skin was glowing... the acne scars had started to dissolve away and I literally had new skin.The bottle says that I can use this twice a week, and with such great results from my first use, I will definitely continue.

Choosing a Peel:


Glycolic: stimulates collagen growth more effectively than any of the other peels. It's small molecule allows it to slip beneath the epidermis to reach the collagen fibers below and results in 15%-25%  thickening over 12 weeks. Glycolic acid generally causes little or no visible peeling.


Lactic: works on the surface of the skin to treat tone, texture, and pigmentation. The Lactic acid molecule works to pull moisture into the cells, and exfoliate surface cells which helps to perfect the skin's surface and restore the skin's natural glow.


Glycolac: With a combination of Glycolic (25%) with Lactic (35%), it provides hydration and tone improvements of the Lactic, with the increased collagen stimulation of the glycolic. It is generally well tolerated because the lactic and glycolic work on different levels or the skin.


Salicylic: a great kertolytic which means it helps loosen the bonds between skin cells to promote exfoliating. It is the only hydroxy acid which is oil soluble which allows it to penetrate into clogged pores. It can be used more frequently than the other peels without must risk for irritation.


BHA+: Hands down the best peel for acne and oily skin. You should expect some visible flaking of the skin 2 days after using the peel. This will help with active acne blemishes as well as old acne marks, and a variety of other skin problems.


HQ+: This peel is best for pigmentation and acne scarring. Similar to our BHA+ peel, with added ingredients which to help to fade pigmentation differences and even skin tone. If you suffer from old acne marks, age spots, or melasma, this peel will be the most effective in helping you.

(More customer reviews)Seriously, if you have oily skin and large pores, this is the best cleanser you'll ever use. No joke, I have tried everything out there and what I hate the most ABOUT EVERY OTHER CLEANSER is the residue it leaves and I feel like I have to wash my face a few times and I still feel gross, but not with the Glycare Cleanser. The proper way to use this cleanser is applying it on dry skin first; apply on dry palm and massage over dry face for 5-10 seconds. Then add water to your face and continue to rub a few more seconds and rinse realy well. Initially, you'll feel a little tingling on you face, thats the glycolic working in action, but this should subside in a couple of weeks. Also good for senstive skin. This is pharmacuetical product and has the highest amount of Glycolic (15%) sold legally without a prescription. The dermatologist I used to work for, sold this line and literally sold itself; its a result oriented product and the entire MD Forte line is amazing. Not only will it control your oil, but it gives you a glow, soft appearance and is amazing for wrinkles. Glycolic acid and Retin-A, are one of the only few products that will actually produce collagen in your skin topically without injections, the elasticity that keeps your skin looking young. Plus, the glycolic is an exfoliator on a microscopic level and its kind of like giving yourself a mini peel. I swear up and down by this.

(More customer reviews)If you have Keratosis Pilaris, or those little red bumps on the back of your arms, this product does make them go away and leaves only soft skin behind.I was skeptical myself, but purchased it after my dermotoligist says that Glycolic Acid should remove the dead skin which causes these bumps. She also told me that it would not remove the redness as this was just a function of my sensative skin.Maybe the skin is just as red, but now you do not notice.The downside to this product is it is just too thick for this type of bottle. It would be okay if the container were a tub with a wide lid.However, the pump does not work well, so you must turn it upsidedown and shake it very hard to get any to come out of the small opening.Just like ketchup, only much, much worse.
