It is effective on my dry patches around my mouth, especially during winter and dry times. The bar form is great because it lasts for a long time, vs the tube which I think you could go through quicker. Buy this! You won't regret it!

(More customer reviews)I have used this for many years--though this is the first time I bought it via Amazon. I have found it cleans deeply and is very refreshing, with a wonderful aroma. It is rather expensive, even via Amazon, but as I wear little or no make-up, I prefer to put my $$ on a cleanser. The Iris Toner makes a great follow-up.

My skin on my face feels soooooo good and looks healthier. I also have some age spots on my hands and some of the spots turned red and rough; I was told it was Pre-Cancerous... Anyway within just a few days, the rough and redness has improved dramatically!I really love this oil and would recommend it to anyone who wants a healthy, soft, glowing skin on their face. I'm anxious to see how my hands turn out after a few weeks. I only wish the shipping wasn't so high.

(More customer reviews)I bought both the Aubrey Organics Sea Buckthorn Nourishing Bath Bar, and the Sibu Cleanse & Detox soap.By far, I prefer the Aubrey. So if you are considering both of them because of the Sea Buckthorn in them, I really recommend the Aubrey. It leaves you feeling cleaner, it seems to work better, and it smells/feels better too!

That being said, the Sibu bar is also a nice bar of soap.The smell is okay, it's not that great, but it does lather nice! I've used it on my face and it works wonderfully and doesn't dry out my skin any more than any facial soap. That's great!

I bought this soap because of the sea buckthorn in it... I was looking for something to help with my psoriasis on my arms/body (the little bumps), and so I am going through a sea buckthorn detox to kill off some mites.Whether it works for that or not, I don't know, only time will tell, so far it seems to be slowly clearing up my skin... but we will see!
