I asked my fiancé and he said "it's just shiny". I'm now looking for all the bed head products I can use because i used the mega moisturizer shampoo but now I want to try self absorbed shampoo with the conditioner. My hair is also soft and my split ends have now been repaired!The shine I have is the same as a pm shine! Get it! You won't be disappointed.

(More customer reviews)I'm a 30 yr old female with long fine hair.I had destroyed my hair through dying it and wearing hair extensions so even though I stopped all that many months ago, my hair was still suffering and I could see all these short pieces where my hair had broken off.I also noticed hair was coming out from the roots when I brushed it trying to get the tangles out.My hair has always been very easily tangled, so I'd usually end up with a clump of hair in my hand at the end of each shower where I had used my fingers along with conditioner to comb out the tangles..and I was very gentle.I was also on occasion getting clogged pores in my scalp.I figured it was from using too much conditioner or detangle spray, since they have oils in them, but I couldn't keep just ripping my hair out.Anyway, I decided to give the Nioxin 1 shampoo/cleanser and conditioner a try (I chose system 1 since I'm not dying my hair anymore).I was pretty shocked that the first time I used it, I had significantly less hair in my hand at the end of the shower..about half as much.My head felt refreshed from the menthol like I could really feel the product working.My hair didn't have as many tangles and it doesn't seem to cause the pores on my scalp to clog.It smells so good, too.It reminds me of this chocolate chip mint body butter I have...yummy.I also got this follicle booster stuff to use after I shower to put around the hairline or wherever I'm losing the most hair.I don't know if that's helping or not, but it doesn't change the look or feel of my hair in a bad way like a lot of leave in products can do, so I'm going to keep using it.I still have some hairs that are coming out with the root attached, but it's significantly less than before.My scalp seems to be healing also.No more bumps on my scalp from clogged pores.My hair looks healthier though it's still not back to the way it was when I was 18 before all the dyes and hair extensions.Still this is a REAL product that has worked better than anything I've ever used (including Aveda and Amplify which I was using prior to this stuff).I bought more already and I'm going to keep using it to see if my hair and scalp keep improving.I had no idea that my hair problems could actually be scalp problems till I started using this.Thanks Nioxin!

(More customer reviews)In 1980-1981 I lived in Lugano, Switzerland (1 hour north of Milan, Italy) and as a teenager in college I went to the beauty salon for hair color.
My hair was really damaged from (my at home) over bleaching.
In the salon they called this "Creme Verde" which means "green creme".
It was an instantaneous miracle every timethey used this product my hair felt like SILK within minutes.

Palvin Bid (Made in Italy) had a distinct smell to it. And lovely at that.
When I moved back to the USA I started looking for "Creme Verde" I didn't know the product name was Palvin Bid.

I searched on and off for years - literally, and FINALLY I saw the in a beauty supply salon, as soon as I smelled it I WAS SO EXCITED TO FINALLY FIND THIS AGAIN!

I've tried so many brands, the reported "best" conditioners and NOTHING works like Palvin Bid.

Many people don't know about it. Most hair salons do NOT carry it. I think that is due to not knowing the product exists.

I you have a salon BUY THIS your customers will THANK YOU.

If you need THE BEST conditioner on earth - THIS IS IT! Nothing does what this does - and you WILL see and feel the results from ONE use.

If you want to give it a try before shelling out more money, try a smaller, less expensive size such as PALVIN-BID Hair Conditioning Lane Bi-Neutralizing Blue or Green Formula 8.45oz/250ml and if you love it (I would be shocked if you don't) getting this pump size is the best way to go - and there's even one larger than this.

I swear by this product since 1980 - I believe you will love it, too.

I ordered this one - great price, arrived quickly.It worked well for me, defining the curls, keeping away the friz, and keeping my hair in place without a solid helmet-hair effect.

The only problem was my wife didn't like the smell of the stuff.I didn't notice any unpleasant smell at all, but my wife didn't like it any vetoed my continued use of this product.So, I went back to the salon and got the expensive stuff.

(More customer reviews)I actually ended up using this as a daily conditioner instead of an occasional treatment, and I think both previous reviews are correct. When I first started using it, for the few days, it made my hair kind of straw like, really difficult to brush, and not very managable. But, well, I was out of conditioner and never got around to getting more, so I kept using it. Better than nothing, right? But that's when it got AMAZING. After that initial few days, my hair became Super Soft, and my usually limp thin hair became really thick and full of body. Forget regular conditioners! This stuff is the best ever.

I read the reviews (which were good) on this product thinking it would help me with this problem. All it did was make my hair so brittle, that when I combed it, it felt like it would have ripped out. I bought the Nexxus VitaTress Cystine Treatment to go with the Nexxus VitaTress Essential Kit, and used the Cystine Treatment as a conditioner, but that didn't help at all either. My hair was just a matted, wet, brittle, hot mess. So I had no other choice but to re-wash my hair with my sister's shampoo & conditioner by Profectiv "Growth Formula," and this did the trick. It detangled my hair and bought it back to life, and I could comb thru it. But I'm glad I did not waste my money on the full size bottle, because this product it HORRIBLE!!!Now I just use Garnier Frutis Sleek & Shine 3 Minute Mask, this works awesome; it slowly changes your hair texture overtime of continues use. This Nexxus VitaTress Cystine Treatment did not work for me, maybe it will work for someone else.
